My family in Louisiana is having a visitor today, Hurricane Isaac.  I know it is a category 1 but I also know from growing up in Louisiana that the category doesn’t mean a whole lot when it comes to damage.  Category 1 means LOTS of rain, especially if it moves like Isaac is moving.  The slower the hurricane the more rain it drops and that can be just as damaging if not more than the wind.  Isaac seems to be strolling through Louisiana and is in no hurry to leave.

Well the A/C arrived today and I am waiting for the install.  Hopefully tonight I will sleep without sweating for the first time in over 2 weeks.  I am relieved.  We still seem to be having small issues, like the kitchen faucet seems to be clogged, it is the only faucet without pressure.  The old pressure switch is iffy sometimes, so we are going to change it, just to be safe.  But all in all, the house is back to normal.  Now if I could just put together $1000 to finish the master bath and the house will have everything redone.
